4.1. Network topologies
We
divide the network topology into physical, which defines how devices are
connected to each other,
and logical, which describes how data is transferred between devices. Every
computer network, even the smallest, has a physical and logical topology, which
defines how devices are connected to each other and how data is transferred.
Computer network topology
It defines the relationships between devices on the network, the connections between them and how data flows.
